We offer excellent private lessons and performance opportunities for students of all ages
Since 1930, Columbus Music Teachers' Association (CMTA) has had a continuous presence in Columbus and its neighboring areas. CMTA offers opportunities for teachers of all instruments, voice, and ancillary music subjects to further their education and teaching skills in a relaxed and informal setting. We also offer both competitive and non-competitive opportunities for students of all ages and levels.
Greetings to New and Returning Members!
I am honored to be returning as President.
We had a wonderful year and would like to continue forward on this path of opportunity for our students’ education.
Graves Piano has a new owner and is being run differently. Because of this, many of our recital dates will be determined at the last minute.
However, the month will remain the same.
Location and dates will be announced later.
Please prepare your students knowing these events will still take place.
I would like to thank our patrons who have monetarily
sponsored the prizes for our achievement awards,
as well as others who donated in memory.
We will be offering three master classes,
including one for younger students ages 9 to 12 who have
achieved a higher level of performance.
From a social media standpoint, we have finally gotten our web page working.
We would like to thank Laraine Martin and Everett Martin, who have helped us achieve this goal: www.columbusmusicteachers.org.
I am also working to maintain a solid presence on social media.
As always, I wish to thank the board for all their hard work and for their help in keeping this organization going.
I look forward to working alongside you this year.
All the best,
Kathleen Stephenson Sadoff
